Skip Morris is the author of 20 books on fly fishing and fly tying. He has spoken at fly-fishing expos and clubs throughout the United States and Canada, as well as internationally. In 2014, Fly Tyer magazine honored Skip with its Lifetime Achievement Award.

He lives in Washington State with his wife, artist and photographer Carol Ann Morris, and their willful tortoiseshell cat, Olive Penderghast.
