Fly Being Tied: Green Highlander variant.

You Will Need:

Short shank hook
or
Clear tube liner
Clear outer tube (and US tube of choice…I’ve used 6mm brass)
Black thread of choice (Stuart uses 8/0 Uni)

Tag:
Silver oval tinsel

Butt:
Yellow glo brite floss

Tail:
Yellow flouro fibre cut to shape

Rib:
Silver oval tinsel

Palmer hackle:
Green highlander cock hackle

Rear body:
Chartreuse holographic tinsel

Front body:
Highlander green dubbing well scrubbed

Under wing:
Orange fox tied forwards and bent over itself

Wing flash:
Highlander green angel hair

Middle wing:
Green highlander temple hound tied normally

Wing Flash:
Highlander green angel hair

Head hackle:
Green pheasant rump

Overwing:
Black temple hound

Cheeks:
Jungle cock left long

Crest:
Natural peacock herls

Head:
Black varnish
