Member’s Tying Night: Guest Instructor Al Ritt

Join Al Ritt for a relaxed, live fly-tying demonstration featuring his own creative twists on established patterns. These are flies Al has relied on over many seasons, and he’ll walk us through how to bring them to life at the vise.

The session will feature the ARF Humpulator, ARF Harey Caddis, and ARF Jigged Tung-Syn PT, with the ARF Paraloop Midge Adult included as time permits.

These patterns are approachable for tiers with some experience, with good proportions being key. Beyond learning the recipes, Al hopes to inspire you to experiment with your own variations—and perhaps discover an improvement or two along the way.
